A little more about who I am and what I do.
Hi! I'm April, a 20-year-old girl from the UK, and I go by she/her. I love music, programming, video games, math, nature & cooking. Although recently, I have been learning how to skateboard and it has been awesome!
When it comes to nerd stuff, my favorite programming languages are Rust & C, although recently I've been using a lot more Haskell and Zig. I also love reverse engineering and low-level computing, especially when it comes to Windows. I'm very knowledgeable about the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) as I've spent a lot of time studying its inner workings! Lately, I have been a lot more interested in macOS, hypervisors, and Minecraft modding.
Outside of being a nerdy dork, I really like musicians in the emo, indie, shoegaze, hyperpop, screamo, and experimental scenes. My favorite artists include Quinn, Saoirse Dream, Teen Suicide, Seahorsechoke, Pinegrove, and Birth Day, among others. I live in Manchester, and it's pretty awesome, I'm near a lot of different parks, so I try to go outside and walk a lot. I also like going to social areas, whether it's a bar or a cafe, and I love meeting and talking to new people.
I try to be nice to others and befriend them, although I am very inconsistent when it comes to a lot of things. I'm also autistic & ADHD, so I can be really bad with sarcasm. In my personal life, I've been trying to become a better person, getting into music production, video editing, and becoming a better skateboarder.
